The Year of the Chalk
It really should be no surprise that chalk has dominated this year through the Sweet 16. Looking back, this year's tournament was really tough to seed after the top 4 or 5 lines. I was able to correctly seed 11 of the top 16 seeds and only 14 of the next 49, showing the clear division between the elite and the rest. Last year we had all four #1 seeds in the Final Four for the first time and there's a real chance to have all the top 8 seeds advance to the Elite Eight. So much for parody.

If Lunardi can do it, why can't I? I know it's late but here were my projections before Selection Sunday 2009. 63/65 teams right, 25 seeded correctly. 54 teams seeded correctly +/- 1 line.
***A look at what's to come: 2010 Tournament Projection scheduled for after 2009 Championship and underclassmen declare for the NBA draft. Expect an update every week during the 2010 season.
